Education has always been at the center of my life. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech, then went on to study Mathematics at the graduate level at the University of South Florida. Later, I completed a degree in Educational Leadership, which allowed me to combine my love for teaching with strong expertise in tutoring for exams such as the PRAXIS and FTCE. I began tutoring many years ago, and it quickly became one of the great joys of my career. I truly love everything about schoollearning, teaching, and being part of the academic journey. As a high school math teacher, I taught a wide range of subjects, from Algebra to AP Calculus, and I've carried that same versatility into my tutoring work. My goal is always to break down difficult concepts into clear, understandable lessons while keeping students engaged, confident, and never overwhelmed. Beyond teaching content, I focus on building strong connections with my students. I believe that when a student feels comfortable asking questions and isn't afraid to say, "I don't understand," real learning happens. I create a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere that fosters curiosity and growth. Over time, I've also developed a wealth of test-taking strategies, which I share as needed to help students manage anxiety and approach exams with confidence. The greatest reward for me is seeing my students succeednot just in mastering the material, but in gaining confidence in themselves as learners. Many of my students have told me how much easier math feels after working together, and I'm proud to have earned nearly perfect ratings throughout my years of tutoring. At the heart of everything I do is a love of learning and a passion for helping others discover it too. Tutoring is not just my profession it's my calling, and I am grateful for every opportunity to make a difference in a student's academic journey.

I am an educator of the sciences. I have taught Life Science, Biology, Physical and Earth Sciences for fourteen years in grades 7-12. I trained with the Keystone Science School of Denver, Colorado, the LSU Coastal Roots Program and have earned over six hundred hours in science literacy training in many areas. Science has a very strong mathematical component and that is why I also specialize in Math tutoring.

I have been tutoring for over 12 years. I have worked with many different students in many different subjects. I've worked as a classroom teacher and instructional content creator, as well. My favorite part of tutoring is knowing that I am making a real difference for my students. I am looking forward to helping more students achieve their academic goals!

I have taught secondary math for four years, and I am excited to tutor in Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, A.P. Calculus, ACT Math, and more. My teaching philosophy is to empower students to analyze mathematics problems and understand how a particular concept fits in to the mathematics framework.

As a student of life, education, both formal and informal, energizes me. On the formal front, I have my AA in Psychology, my BA in Criminology, and my MS in E-Commerce, and I have an equally diverse post-studies career history. My love of education has taken me to Southern California where I fed my love of law and learned about film. Next, I visited rural Florida with a stint at a Community Theatre. I've even spent a fair amount of time in the Hospitality Industry in Las Vegas, which, unexpectedly, introduced me to the construction industry. Through all of this, I have been a professional tutor for profit and pro bono. I believe education should be available to everyone regardless of age, sex, or socio-economic status, and I utilize learning identification to impart wisdom in the most effective way possible for each student's needs. I love that magical moment when the student "gets it." With experience in a broad range of subjects, mathematics is the most enjoyable for me, as well as LSAT Logic Games I'm the weirdo doing LSAT games at the tea house. My spare time finds me in nature for hikes and trail runs, and I can regularly be found on an obstacle course (Spartan, Tough Mudder, SISU, etc.) or doing an extreme endurance events either racing or supporting friends. Life is to be learned and lived!

I have over 9 years of experience tutoring students preparing for teacher certification exams and hold degrees in English and Education, as well as a technical writing certification. I enjoy helping students strengthen their reading comprehension so they can break down test questions and avoid common multiple-choice mistakes. I also guide students in using exam specifications to study strategically and focus on what is most likely to appear on the test. My goal is to help every student feel confident, prepared, and calm on test day. I would love to help you achieve success.

I was inspired to become a tutor because I believe there is an easy way to explain anything, it's just that, unfortunately, most don't take the time to try. I am a former Computer Science student at Rider University, where I have been tutoring since the beginning of Junior year. My favorite part of the job is that the more I teach a subject, the better I understand it. The subjects I will be focusing on tutoring are computer programming, Computational Theory, and Basic Mathematics such as Algebra. Currently I am an IT professional at a LIS company, providing patient-critical services to hospitals and labs. I also develop websites on the side.

I love teaching science. My experience ranges from early elementary to college physics instructor. I follow a constructivist instruction philosophy where learning is built upon models and not focused on memorization or formula recall. I believe a solid conceptual foundation is essential for true and lasting learning.
