Hailing from Queens, New York, I am a senior at the University at Albany studying biology, with a minor in Sociology. Ever since I was a kid, I have always been a "science kid", but I eventually tailored my interests toward biology. Being a biology major in college is not an easy journey for anybody, but throughout my education, I have developed my own tips and tricks for understanding loads of content in a small timeline. Aside from my studies, I conduct research within molecular biology, and I want to become an accomplished scientist developing regenerative medicine. My college experience makes me want to become a tutor to assist you guys in taking charge of your learning and making challenging topics more digestible. My teaching philosophy is to meet every learner at their struggle point and emphasize broader connections to create bigger pictures. I like spending time developing problem-solving, overcoming test anxiety, and rebuilding confidence when approaching hard subjects. I tutor a multitude of subjects such as biology, chemistry, and math. Outside of academia, I transfer my experimentation to baking where I love making cakes, cookies, pastries, and breads for my family and friends.
