I passed Step 1 and scored 256 on step 2 CK with 4 weeks of studying each. And I can help you score highly on these exams without completely draining your mental and emotional energy with endless grind. I believe my excellent study skills and habits come from a life long experiences in teaching. Growing up as an immigrant, I was fortunate to help my mother learn English and understand American culture. This experience forced me to explain new and often complex things simply. These skills served me well as a substitute teacher after college and continues to help me reach students as a tutor for medical students.I firmly believe the best teachers make learning fun and enjoyable. As a tutor, my goal is to give you the tools to learn for yourselves, so even after our lessons end you can take away applicable skills for your future studies, whatever it may be.

I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Psychology. I am currently in graduate school pursuing a degree in Genetic counseling. During my time in undergraduate, I spent about just under 2 years working as a college tutor, working with college students from different backgrounds with their college coursework, helping them understand difficult concepts and work towards an efficient and sustainable plan for learning the material.Currently, I offer tutoring for various life science classes, biology, introductory French, and essay writing. One of my favorite topic to work with students on is life science and biology as I find the topic especially exciting and promising! Being in the field of genetics, I am fascinated by the implications of genetics on our health and sharing knowledge with individuals wanting a better understanding of the subject.Outside of academia, I love baking and trying new recipes with friends and family!

I recently graduated from Rice University with a triple major in Biochemistry & Cell Biology, Psychology, and Ecology & Evolutionary Biology. I will be attending Baylor College of Medicine in a few months to pursue a MD degree. I am also an avid cellist.I have been tutoring since my junior year in high school (6 years tota) and love teaching at all levels. I have a composite 2180 SAT and 34S MCAT score and received all "4/5"s on 7 different AP exams and was listed on Rice University's "President's Honor Roll". I know how hard and stressful it is to take standardized exams, as I myself have gone through it all, and this has motivated me to want to help make the process easier for those who are going through it. I am also very knowledgeable with college and medical school applications and will be happy to help go through the entire process and review essays. As listed above, I used to be a competitive cello player under the guidance of 2 Houston Symphony cellists and can give cello lessons if requested.I love animals and visiting museums, parks and zoos.Classical music is one of my greatest passions and I am very interested in the natural sciences. I hope to become a pulmonary pediatrician.

I'm currently a fourth year medical student at a private medical school in Texas. I've been involved with tutoring since middle school continuing all the way through medical school. There are so many different ways to teach based on how students learn best and I am passionate about meeting the individual needs of students so they can succeed. I took unconventional approaches to learning as instilled by mentors throughout my life that greatly increased my ability to learn and comprehend material . I've worked with tutoring students in ACT prep, SAT prep, MCAT prep, IB and AP courses, as well as STEM subjects from elementary school through to college. Recently, I've also tutored for USMLE Step 1 & 2. I also edit and work with students who need tutors for writing and reading comprehension. I have extensive experience in both college and medical school admissions and work yearly with students on essays and applications. I went to high school at the Downingtown STEM Academy and graduated May 2018 from the University of Alabama with a 4.2. I have a BS in Biology with minors in Social Work and Social Welfare. I will be graduating with an MD and MPH in May 2022. I tutor english, math, geometry, algebra, SAT, ACT, MCAT, USMLE chemistry, biology, organic chemistry, and writing along with other subjects. I've worked with rural students in Alabama, students in the Greater Philadelphia area, and students in urban areas. I believe education should be personalized and while schools can't provide this due to lack of resources, tutors are a great substitute for that. Education is the gateway to social mobility and happiness and I seek to prepare my student to meet their individual goals. I work to create an environment where the student can focus on understanding the material for their own understanding and not for others which significantly increases the students confidence in the subject matter and their desire to learn more.

I earned my bachelor of science in biomedical engineering from Texas A&M University. After graduating college, I spent a semester substitute teaching elementary and high school students in a variety of subjects. I then attended Baylor College of Medicine's PA program, where I earned my master of science in physician assistant studies. I took the PANCE less than two weeks after graduation and passed on my first attempt. I have experience taking a variety of standardized exams, and I know which skills and resources are helpful for doing well on those exams. I love learning and teaching others, especially in medicine, math, and science. Overall, I am passionate about helping others achieve their academic goals, and I will work hard to help you achieve yours!
