I have a degree in electrical engineering and an MBA. As such I have taken many math courses. Math has always been my favorite subject, and combined with my thorough enjoyment of passing that excitement on to others, has sparked my interest in teaching. I have been teaching for over 30 years, both classroom and online with 1 to 1. I am most experienced in teaching algebra 1 and 2. I try to relate the topic to everyday life to show how useful mathematics is in helping us to solve life's problems. I teach for that moment when the light comes on in the student's eyes, showing that I have succeeded in helping that student understand the concept.

I have been working with children for 13 years now. Over these years my focus was mostly on being a full-time nanny, starting out at a young age as a mothers helper and working my way up the ladder. Throughout my time as a nanny, homework help and guiding the children through tough problems has been a task that was a part of my responsibilities. On top of this, I have experience working at Kumon, a tutoring center that teaches math and reading. I worked with the younger kids at Kumon (3-6 yos) and had a few older students as well. I have a degree in psychology from Western New England University, with a focus in child development. I enjoy tutoring math and reading/writing. The two subjects are so different; one being concrete and the latter being creative and unpredictable. In my free time I enjoy cooking up delicious dishes with vegetables from my garden, going for hikes in nature, doing yoga/meditating, getting lost in creative reading and sometimes writing short stories. I am committed to helping students learn who might otherwise have difficulty with traditional methods. I myself had trouble learning the way things were taught in school, and am here to open up the way we teach. As I like to say, I don't think outside the box, I think inside the star!

I have over four decades of hands-on experience in all aspects of management and international trade: operations, logistics, labor/HR and contract negotiations, financial analysis/control, light manufacturing, transport of perishables, vessel operations and husbandry, quality assurance TQC, and business development in foreign multicultural operations as well as the United States. As a Certified Marine Surveyor I have performed over 6,000 inspections and investigations for such clients as Lloyd's of London. My four decades began as a Peace Corp volunteer in Peru in the earthquake reconstruction efforts up to being the Chief of Party consultant for the Deloitte &; Touch's task force restructuring the entire export industry of five Caribbean nations simultaneously for the European Union. I have lived in while working in seven foreign countries and have worked on short term assignments in fourteen others representing both, foreign transnational and local interests. I am also fully bilingual English/ Spanish and am conversant in French and Portuguese. I received an MBA from INCAE , under the auspices of Harvard. Previously I earned an under graduate double degree in Business Administration and Accounting at Western New England University WNE , in Massachusetts with the distinction of Cum Laude.

I have been involved with advising and counseling both clients and advisors, and am passionate about helping others learn how financial markets work. I have passed the Series 6, 7, 24, 26, and 66 exams, and held the Massachusetts Life and Health insurance licenses. I coached basketball and football both at the youth and high school levels. Hello, my name is Hunter and I am 24 years old. I just graduated from The University of New Haven with my M.A. in Community Psychology. I attained my B.A. in Psychology from Western New England University in 2020. I am looking for full time work currently and will be able to tutor occasionally. I have main interests in psychology and have worked many times with developmental disabilities such as autism.

I've taught accounting at all levels for many years and have had numerous one-on-one interactions with students.
